EXPERIENCE

May 2007-present:
Business owner of E.D.GLOBAL, LLC, a consulting firm specializing on SID, business development, marketing, resource development, training and nonprofit management. Stringer News Correspondent to Philippines T.V & radio stations. Main client is HSBCC.

Executive Director of Hamilton St Business & Community Corporation (HSBCC),
Franklin, Township. Manage the Special Improvement District, (SID) a public-private partnership between the local government and the business district created out of an ordinance.


 Funded and facilitated several new restaurants and businesses. Assisted in providing 27 for their façade improvements worth $300,000.00 and 4 businesses with their architectural-engineering funding.
 Managed almost a million-dollar budget to revitalize Hamilton Street business district inclusive of parking and circulation study, façade improvement, architectural-engineering incentive fund, and completed the streetscape study with the budget of 1.5 million for implementation.
 Facilitated financial and business related workshops and organized “Meet & Greet” social meetings among merchants.
 Designed and implemented marketing program inclusive of farmers’ market, car show, intercultural shows, costume parade for children and one week community celebration called, “Week of the People.” Recruited and managed hundred volunteers for these week events.


March 2003-2007:
Business District Coordinator & Deputy Director of Economic Development, Franklin Township, Somerset County. The main responsibility is to develop and implement programs to promote and maintain businesses with special concentration of developing a Special Improvement District (SID).

 Introduced the first Special Improvement District (SID) that was created into ordinance by the Township Council as a revitalization tool to the Hamilton Street Business District, a section of the township.
 Concurrently served as the executive director for Hamilton Street Business & Community Corporation, as a nonprofit agency in-charge of implementing main street program and resource development.
 Funded and facilitated several new restaurants and businesses. Assisted in providing 24 businesses for their façade improvements worth $300,000.00 and 2 businesses with their architectural-engineering funding.

 Designed and conducted training for Franklin Public Schools security guards called COPS-CaSTLE (Community Optimum Policing in Schools-Campus Security Training and Leadership Empowerment.
 Designed and conducted community policing and police leadership at Region 3 of Philippines National Police.

 Established relations with International Labor Organization (ILO) for collaborations since the latter has a project to provide health care insurance for the poor in the Philippines.
